Map screen shots

From a users perspective, i would like to ask that before you submit a map that you turn the gamma and brightness up so we all can see what your map is about. Esp on night maps. Thanks, BSF.

no its a message to the entire community as i have notice a lot of maps where you cant see jack in the ss so it qualifies as news since it is a request and there is no request forum

btw good thread BSF. i was getting the feeling that ppl dont look at the screenshots. from the complaints we get about ratings etc.

i guess people dont realize that if they want thier map to be successfull the screen shot has to accomplish its objective of displaying the map and a bad ss reflects baddly on the quality of the map even if its a 5 star map and maps with bad ss 's get fewer downloads so if its a night map they should use a photo editor and increase th gama and adjust brightness accordingly..also the ss created in the game come out dark becuase nova was lazy in programming the settings given the ss when they are taken and it really shows on the darker shots....

what promted me to start this thread was cause i went to the database and right of the bat two maps had rally dark cant see jack screenshots and i have seen a lot of that stuff and in all fairness to the entire community i thought i would make
a request where every one would see it

On my screen shots I always brighten them and in some cases, I remove the fog so you can see what's on the map.

Another request...I know people like to put a signature on their screen shot, but don't make it so friggin' big! We want to see your map, not your stupid sig!

good business people proudly display thier ware's
all spit and polished ... our maps are nodiferant
