disable the 'f' key lock on logitech keyboards

anyone have one of these here logitech keyboards with 2 functions for the 'f' keys? well as you know the default when it boots is to have the normal function diabled and replaced with the silly media shortcuts.

there is a reg file on this site > http://www.ben.pope.name/logitech.html that makes it boot with the media functions disabled

there is also a reg file to undo what the first file does

i have a ms keyboard and it does the same thing, right above num lock has F Lock and F

I just looked at that link and it says ONLY if u use a ps2 keyboard NOT USB, so that kinda blows it for me , i hate that i always have to hit the F-Lock to use that function the way it should already be by default, , i wonder if there is another way to make it default to F-Lock ,and NOT the Media keys???

yeah it sux IMHO :/ i don't want the silly shortcut keys to 'my documents' or play/pause etc.

i did notice that it doesnt apply to USB but i'm not sure why, it's just a reg entry, i duno why it is different

i'm sure there will be a trick u can do with a soldering iron tho
