How to make Little Bird shoot?
Hey i searched on the forum but i dont find anything about Little Bird Shooting. My question is, how to make a Little Bird shoot on a selected object on DFBHD?
(The shoots show the tracers of minigun like a singleplayer mission called 'Besieged'.) |

In the little bird's item attributes menu, set its AI textfile to a little bird that can strafe, I forget the exact name of the text file. If you have Team sabre you'll need to download an unlocked MED from the downloads section as the MED that comes with Team Sabre is nerfed down.
Once you do that make an event with the IF statement whatever you'd like, I recommend one for when the little bird reaches a waypoint. Your THEN statement will look like Change AI, single > Start Firing > SSN of little bird > Firing state 1. Firing state 1 is firing, 0 is cease fire. You'll need to create a separate event to make it cease fire. |

Well you could try different AI text files and then run the map until it works. If the one I was thinking of isn't showing up you should try one of the unlocked editors from the downloads section.

Yeah bro many thanks. I get it to work. But, i did a look on the singleplayer map (the map and the .mis) Gasoline Alley, and there was an 'Firing Angle' -20. For what is this? And for make the sound when the little bird pass over you is a custom not? And last, the white smoke that make when little bird pass that area on the map.

The firing angle is, as it says, the firing angle. You can very well make it shoot straight up with that. The sound of the little bird passing over is a .wav file hidden in a .pff file where BHD is installed. You can use a pff extractor to examine them all.
The act of playing the wav file and creating the smoke is done using wac files. There's a tutorial on how to make your own wac files. http://www.novahq.net/?show=utilitie...ew_files&id=11 It's near the bottom. |
