Anyone try the demo yet? i didn't because my computer sucks to bad, i am barely playing COD4 on the minimum requirements, but i will most likely get the game for my PS3!!

didnt bother, ym clan played it but don't rate it very highly. think we might be sticking with cod4

it sucks. Don't bother to try and get beta. Play cod2 if you wanna play a good cod game.

It seems a bit weird it's going back to WWII, but it's kinda a good thing at the same time, because CoD is generally centred around WWII.

Its WW2 and it's made by Infinity Ward.
Them other dudes have a lot to answer for screwing up 3 and from what I've heard have screwed 5 too

World at War looks like a major copy of CoD4 - similiar perks (e.g. instead of UAV Jammer, it's Camouflage), similiar gameplay, etc. Even the game box looks similiar to the CoD4 one.

You guys hear the announcement on a Call of Duty 6? I think it'll be in dev by Infinity Ward...

What made cod2 a lot better than cod4 and cod5 is because it was a lot more simple. This is my personal opinion and I think cod2 is a lot better. They introduced these god awful perks into the game and then they also released the air strike and chopper when you get 3 and 5 kills in a row. Do you know how long it took for ppl to create a decent competition mod? it took a long time for cod4 to be a decent competitive game. And even now, A lot of the US cod4 community is asking the big online gaming tournaments to hold cod2 tournaments again.

Basically, they made the game too complex and added too much **** that was not needed.

It just pisses me off that there is no COOP in COD1 or 4 I don't think any of the older ones have it either.

It's made on the same engine - maybe even slightly more improved.

The engine may have been improved technically but you won't notice it. The game looks and plays worse than COD4 ever did.

Tons of clipping issues. A simple gas can on the ground becomes an issue when trying to walk down an alley or street. The animations are horrible. Half the time you get killed and watch kill camera it shows the guy shooting at the ground but killing you.

There are also major latency issues which lead to weapon firing issues. At times the bolt action rifles will fire 3 shots in a row.

^ one of the things i hate the most, but even with it on ppl are still dumb enough not to get you when they respawn, or are dumb enough not to move after they have shot me

TBH i think the last time that i have played on a kill cam server on COD4 was when i got the game when it first came out lol

And im gonna pick it up soon. Played the beta and full game and i really enjoyed it. I like the fact that its the same engine and everything as COD4, because i love COD4, so i like the similarities.

Also, i want to play the co-op. Not many pc games have that i believe.
