looking for info on HHD options

would it be bad to pick this or not?
i like to compress the whole drive to save disk space, is there a down side to this?

I never use it before

it will slow data access a bit, and it will need CPU resources to continually compress and uncompress the data.

personally i want things running as fast as poss so i dont use it. but if you're really desperate for space then try it.

Yeah what Steve said...it will slow it down since it has to take time compressing the files.
