ERROR

Hi All
this is my first time on posting here so i hope you can help with the problem im getting.
I am getting an error every time i install dfbhdts the error is reading
ERROR: An error during file decopression.-ReadMe.TXT[.\CPY 1b3b.temp] [.\Tmp7c52.tmp](0:-3) .
Now i uninstalled and reinstall EVERYTHING in the BHDTS AND in the BHD folder rebooted defraged and cleaned the folders out and i still get this message can anyone help me on this problem.

Is your Direct X up to date..that being 9.0b ?

yes it is up to date just installed it last nite then put bhd and ts on after that.

Hmm because when I installed Joint Ops I got an error similar to that and then downloaded DX 9b and workd fine. Do all your other games work fine?

you could try to restill dx 9b i do beleave there a item to remove it then you can restill it. think Steve may know that site that has the removable tool at.

could be something gone bad in it.

all so double check update file size so you know you got the full file downloaded some times the update is cut-short and its 1/2 its size it should be.

way i got it instill is:
1.) Instill BHD without updating it.
2.) Instill TS it will update BHD and then it instill TS afterward.
3.) i then manuly downloaded the new update not using the update the "in-game update" i use it don't work 100% always.
4.) after getting the update i then open it up and lookup dfbhd.exe in it. then click-open it should start updating it.

after you download the update check the file size always to see it the file size is right.

i just looked at the file size and it tells me 2.42 downloaded and 2.43 on disk . i downloaded it from novalogic not from game update i will try reinstalling.

then you got a bad download file its not 2.42mb at all the file size is 28.87mb in size redownload it again till it right.

when you downloaded it got cut off so you really did not get the full file downloaded it happens

remember always check the file size thats why you got that error it got cutoff to soon.

its really easy to see the file size they say it should be and then check to see what you gotting that is downloaded:

i know this totally it happen to me, i redid me system 3x and restill the game a buch of time in other HHD areas as in H:I: drive bays not in the C: HHD. so i know what i am talking i had to redownload the goofy update more then one time to get it right about.

Thanks for the help it seems to have worked but now i get errors in the map making part i now get .tga error and also i sent a map to my wifes email to see if it opens before i send it to my squad leaders but it comes up with error from the zip file saying file is not archive an error whilst downloading or something to that affect.
