eek oh tough choices

ok,

I wanting to ask a few questions...

1. what out of these gfx cards would you choose and why...?

- XFX GeForce PCX6600 GT Extreme Gamers Edition 128MB DDR3 TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express)
- Connect3d ATI Radeon 9800 PRO 128MB DDR DVI TV-Out

2. what is the difference between this cards, like which ones better and which are worth the ££.

3. Would anyone know whats the highest fps rate you would get in games, mainly call of duty...

Depends...are you looking to upgrade your motherboard too?

If you have AGP I'd go with the 9800 Pro...plus you can get it for cheaper

Well, if you can get either, go with the nvidia. It way outperforms the 9800

"Depends...are you looking to upgrade your motherboard too?"

Dont need to, im custom building and ordering all the parts soon. so just need quite a good card to go with.

"If you have AGP I'd go with the 9800 Pro...plus you can get it for cheaper"

Then the 9800pro is a nono, the mobo im getting supports 2x pci-e cards.

@ conscell-perry

nice, do you know what temperature the card reaches?
if you play c.o.d, what fps range do you get?

bad 6600gt, I have being told, mabye someone here can help, but I have being told that the 6600gt can not reach a fps of 125 or more in c.o.d even tho the 6600gt is a mid range version of the 6800gt?

But Im on the way to getting an ati card
OcUK ATI Radeon X800 XT 256MB DDR3 TV-Out/DVI (PCI-Express)
unless the 6600gt can hit 125fps+?
