I put my serial code in so that is part of the protection and I don't know if some one could crack the game until you install it and you can't install until you enter the serial.
I don't get fully cracked games or serials just the NoCD crack

I have 200+ owned games to prove it? Does it prove any thing?
Am I under the gun do you think?
Just me but I look to the gaming community for support like no-cd and things like that.

As far as owning the game, yes you bought it and it is yours to an extent. You can't copy it and realease it to others freely or for monitary gain. You can't reuse any part of the programming in any other application and call it yours. You can't resell keys.

There's probably alot more that I left out that you can't do so if it don't feel right then maybe it not a good idea to do it.

Jmho (just my humble opinion).

you paid for the rights to use their game is all, they never sold away the software to edited or be resold to others, its their's to keep.

basic sample you like to rent a police officer from your town or city for a day or for a life time! they can take the police (me its be a female) officer back any time and change the rules as they like for the use of their police officer as they like at even given time. you never own the police office or pay them to keep the police officer. the police office is their all the time.

you only pay for their blessing to use their game software is all, they can be evil block you from using it with others as they like.

there is a disc cover that prevent wear and tear of any given Cd or DVD disc as it spend around on the disc, does not peel off at all, unless one wish to, it can be remove from disc

It all comes down to honesty and integrity. I am honestly so sick of the retarded "anti-piracy features" like DRM game developers are adding because of those who do pirate. Half the time they bog the game down to where it is nonfunctional or it is a pain in the butt to get working.

Why should we, the honest majority, be punished?

don't recall the name of the product item, but it work like stick on the written side of the disc (static elect maybe) then it peels off, was on Tv ad that was running some time back like 6-8mo back, but i don't watch Tv a lot sorry

tv shown some people in a car playing a disc into a player with the tape (item) on the written side of the disc and how easy it was to replace the clear tape (item) and put another on it ( showing how easy it was to use) no scratches on the CD/ DVD disc or damage to the DVD/ CD drive player using it (it didn't peel off inside the player when they taken it out stay on)

you have to search google or newegg.com , tigerdirect.com maybe

There are too many bad DRMs. SecuROM is an example, what it does is it installs without your knowing and consent. It proves potentially harmfull as people have reported trashed hard drives because of it. EA has been taken to court because of it and told not to use it, but apparently they still do! It is also difficult to remove and a pain in the @ss because you need a SecuROM remover to get rid of it, but even that doesn't get rid of it 100%! you have to go and kill the remaining files in the registry AFTER use of the SecuROM remover!!! Good old Novalogic doesn't use such software

lol that's not difficult to do. All it does is remove the file mappings, the files are still there. If you're talking about erasing that much in 1 second, that's not possible right now.

Normal partition and file recovery tools available to us fail to retrieve the data at all. Not even partial strings

As far as I know the MBR/Partition Table remain intact so the drive can still be repopulated with FAT 16/32 or NTFS format data

The thing about SecuROM is ALOT of games only run if you have it. (unless you get a nocd patch).
