eek DFBHD setting music

I am getting tired of searching how i can put music on my mission. Its very boring to playing and hearing only the *Bam* *Bam* of the enemies!

I think that has to do with triggers but i don't know....
or i have to set music in the wac file?

I will be really happy if i put music! Its my final step of completing my map!

1- Open the mission editor. Use the unlocked one. Click here.

2- In 'General Information', look down the page for 'Global Effects', and put any number between 10 or 19.

3- Now put a area trigger where you want to the music to start. If you want the music to start when the mission begin, put the area exactly where is the Player Start Marker.

4- Open it item's atributes, and you will see down the right: Music (var4). Check that box and write 80.

5- You'r done!

whoops doesn't look like those params work in DFX2
Do you know the settings? I use mission design 2.6

Music in DFX1/2 is easier, ensure your .wav file is set to white book standard, name it say stomp.wav, in wac have trigger say

if never() then
wave("stomp.wav")
endif

"M"

ps white book:
File Type: 22050Hz, 16-bit, Mono
File Format: ACM Waveform Microsoft ACM: IMA ADPCM

I'm sure you know this...??

Using "Audacity"
I convert to pcm 8000Hz 16bit mono
because of upload size restriction to NHQ and some would not work without this format in the game anyway.
