I was thinking the same thing. Not to sure about the squid as I don't like seafood (I like virtually everything else). But I do love me some potatoes. Aren't they supposed to be white though? That would defiantly play tricks with my mind as they look like sweets.

Another recipe is a piece of common household sponge dipped it chocolate and sprinkled with shredded coconut (Lamington anyone?) a real party pleaser.

Sad thing is I wasnt happy with how white they were, so added some titanium dioxide to that batch to make em realy white

Cauliflower cheesecake isnt working out too well, though I reckon I can make a sponge cake out of it so trying that on my next day off.

Broccoli Jelly (Jello to US folk) worked a treat though

Now I just need a way to disguise some roast chook as something and ill have a full roast dinner that looks like a desert plate

Next up.

This didnt work out great, im trying to spherify fruit juices to resemble caviar and fish roe. Essentially you mix your liquid with Sodium Alginate, drop it into a bath of calcium chloride and it forms a skin. You rinse it off, serve it and when you eat it 'pops' in your mouth releasing the fruit juice...

I tried mango juice, its what I had laying around and this is how it turned out, im pretty happy and have a solid basis for some truely mind screwing roe/caviar serving...

You can see all the little individual spheres, though its pretty obvious some have been in the soution longer than others, but hey, first go...

And regarding cancer comment - its all natural FDA approved stuff that I use and that we would eat in other food, just applied in different ways, so theres no more chance of cancer than eating normal food....

Sucky photo on this one, I was happily drinking it and thought oh #$%^, so its nearly gone...

But anyway, its a cup of tea. Except, one side is actually hot tea and the other side is Iced Tea, the two sides remain distinct, it dosent mix, so when you drink it half your mouth is adjusting to the cold and the other half is warming the tongue, even though I knew what was coming its really weird...
