Point to a mission folder ?

Is there a way to have DFX2 look to another folder for the missions rather than it own folder ?

Probably not without changing the .EXE file. and as BuLL and Chrispy has told me, that's something you don't want to get into.

just curious ..... but are you running Windows VISTA and can't find your saved missions ?

VISTA, is one over repetitive suck after another !

MICROSOFT has overworked all securirty problems and has included them all into VISTA.

There is a work around , it can be fixed !

If this is not your problem, Gorlosky ....Please, forgive me .... I just had to rant !!!!!

don't know if one can edited the shortcut same as a mod would be for the game to look into a game folder for mods to use and dig into the maps in that folder.

only thing i can think of.

(maps folder) i really don't know only am guessing at this as a work around the dfx2.exe without editing it

Running Windows XP. I wanted to put all the maps into a folder OTHER THAN the root folder of DFX2. Having 50 missions * 3 is a a lot of extra files. Oh well.

Yes it is, even more when you have the *.til files - my squads server has something like 170 maps, + 20 or so TIL files.

It helps if you name them in a uniform pattern, as then either sorting by name or by file type they all are in the same group
