Making SP maps out of TDM TKOTH etc. ?

How hard is it to make SP maps out of the other types (AS,TDM,TKOTH) of maps ? (I have made some maps in other games and I am new to DFX2) I really enjoy the effort put into these SP maps, to "tell a story". Also, can other maps be "brought" into the map editor from other games, as a basis to start from ?

will one has to have the .MIS file to use to edited item out and release with with item in it say

Co-op map change to a Team King of the Hill (TKOTH)

in the co-op general details one has to remove any triger or way points and any AIs in the map to change it to TKOTH for sample

the AI if one like they can change thier team color from say red to yellow and have the map setup as a three way things and the AIs would be bugging every one not really going after the kill zone or taken over the Hot spot TKOTH zone.

but there is a chance to if one of the AIs get into the zone and stay there too long yellow team may win.

but the most i would do is start a new map and copy items for other maps into your map if you can get your hands on the main Map.MIS file you like

It might be a good idea to actually ask the map maker for his permission to copy aspects of one map to your own first.
But as you say S/P maps "tell a story" how do you get that story STEALING someone's elses map?
Aint there enough piracy on this internet already?

you maybe able to convert bms file to mis

but way points and tricker may have to be redone when one convert maps these items get goofup a bet and may not work to good. its a option when some one make up the tool to convert maps

taken DFX (1st one) 3yrs before one was made for it.

its nicer to ask a map maker for the .mis but if you like to export out the stander sp-maps from the pff file you would need the convert them then

keep inmind taken a SP-Map and make it into say TKOTH there maybe limited on items in the map to be use and you would need to remove some item then.
