Firefox 3 released!

As far as I know, it was released today. The number one browser in my opinion has just gotten better!

the reason I did it is because how often do we get a big news update on anything with novaworld games lol? Once in awhile nw will come out and say something half interested but not often. So I figure this should go on the main page since millions and millions of people use firefox and some might not know about it and the visitors that do not visit the forums can also know about it. I can guarentee a good handfull of people from nhq use firefox. Yeah i knew steve and the other admins would not have a problem with this. Its firefox! it deserves a spot on the main page and there has been many other things in the past that have not been game related posted on main page. Pretty sure this will be fine too.

I agree with teej.

Firefox is game related too. Let me show you.

Firefox = you can browse the net = you can browse NHQ = you can talk about Nova's new game.

Haven't tried FF3, although I've got 2. Anyone care to tell the new features? Haven't heard much on features on the 3rd version.

as far as I can see and what I have looked into, not a lot has changed. They fixed some known little bugs and it looks different.

I don't use FF that much. I'm just more used to IE.

Right now I've got FF2 and IE6 on the computer. Might try out FF3.

Yeah, that was ages ago. A lot of companies have pirated software. Not just Nova. Even Microsoft probably have pirated software that they use...

Haven't really noticed a lot of new features with FF3 yet, its standard design is a bit nicer imo and it loads a little faster, there is one "improvement" though that almost drove me insane. Instead of the old location bar - you know where you type in an url - they have invented something they call "The Awesome Bar" which in my eyes isn't very awesome at all! Instead of giving you URLs you have visited that starts with 'E' when you type in an 'E' in the bar, it lists all sorts of pages from your history that has an E in the content or somewhere in it's title. Which is really frustrating when you have gotten used to how a location bar works after using a computer for well over a decade.

Luckily I found this plugin that gives me back a non-awesome bar, which works the way I like it to.
(https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/6227) Otherwise I would have switched to Opera or something..
