There are countless posts by countless Game Informer Magazine subscribers who have already gotten their June issues and have already read the CoD4 exclusive. They are stating, with high frequency of corroborating data, the following facts are disclosed:

The Engine:
Destructible environments
"Photorealistic" next-gen graphics
High frame rates
Incredible physics
Quick load-times
Singleplayer:
Ability to fly aircraft
All cut-scenes are in first-person
Multiplayer:
Experience-based progression (ranks)
Unlockable player customizations
Unlockable weapon customizations
Unlockable equipment
Ability to call in air strikes
Vehicles!
The article also blatantly states the game will be for PC, Xbox 360, and PS3. All other speculation can end, as this is official.

There are some other details surfacing, but don't appear at high enough frequency to be credible. These are the things that multiple people have listed independently, so are likely 99% accurate.

i hate unlocks, makes it unfair for those who cant put in lots of time or adapt to the game properly..

hopefully it wont b 2 difficult 2 get them.. and also hopefully it wont create an advantage on xbox live

cool but 1 thing i makes me think more about COD4 is it sounds like a newer vervion on BF2 but 10 times better

i like unlockables.
only when all can use them together, it be unfair to them who don't have the option to use unlockables it kills the joy in it.

mods are sweet it lets all have the same things to use.
