i not crazy about nile at all. i take a map editer over nile anyday. C4 map editor version even.

Well I don't mind if people want to use things in my maps, I mean if they ask for the MIS, I would gladly give them the MIS files for all my maps, but atleast ask lol. But also to take things from my maps and put them into their maps is fine, but to take my whole map and say they made it bugs me of corse.

Dang it, now I want the MIS to BMS thing! I lost everything on my computer, also being all my maps. My maps are luckly on NovaHQ and DFBarracks, but I can never edit those maps to something else now lol.

ill take those .mis alu if you don't (or anyone else) mind. im fairly new to dfx and im frustrated that i can't seem to make any decent custom objects

Well ha! Sorry I would give you my MIS files, but I lost EVERYTHING off from my computer. So I don't have the MIS files anymore

I have the alantis map, but that is the DJ MOD if that is ok. So untill DFX has a MIS to BMS converter, I can't update any of my maps.

I have started to work on figuring out the .bms file so that I can convert it. I started this yesterday and have got a lot figured out but it may take some time to get this out. When it is done I will send it panther and will post a link to download it from here. If anyone has any information on the .bms files or has any suggetions to features or ideas they would like to see in this utility then feel free to contact me.

an update to the program.. I have an semi working version right now. It will convert the needed general information. I have most of the bms file figured out but will need to look at it some more to get it all working. At this time I have all the item info figured out and the general info like map name and terrain figured out. I have most the events stuff figured out but that is the area i am still missing information in. I hope to soon have a good stable version working that i can start testing for release.

That I will do and have already thought about Maybe I can get a few of you guys to help me out with testing. I hope to have a working version within the next couple days but I cant be sure of anything because I still havnt looked at the rest the info I need for events. At this time I have a program that does convert the BMS to MIS and it is getting the general info and the items done. I wanted to get some input on one other thing from you guys since you are the ones that will be using the app. Do you see the need for it to convert the colors of groups and such. If so then I need to try and find where that info is located at in the file and if not then I can move on with getting this app done.I have spent little time on the actual programming of this app so far but it is coming along very well.
