The sucky thing about DSL connections is they can track your IP. I have a static IP so I am screwed.

I have DSL and it's dynamic IP all the time - cable isn't though.

depends on your isp. you can have a static ip on either but u have to pay extra for it in the uk,

Our dsl is always connected and always the same IP. My ISP rules

Use a proxy bypass to hide your IP... Oops, that might give ShArP some ideas when he's banned...

proxy is hardly worth the effort unless you are a real psycho and desperate to post, and you'd only use it if you were trying to hide your identity, but then you would hardly re register and pretend to be someone completely different (unless your name is perry)?? fyi most people have a dynamic ip so blocking an ip is not something we generally do.

either way, you'll get spotted and it takes a few seconds to ban you again, which is a lot longer than it took you to create a new email address, register and make your posts

this is a pretty good forum to admin, we have maybe one person per year that cant abide by the rules, and then not understand why they were banned, then waste a few hours re registering every couple of days, typing huge post that get moved before anyone reads it.
