She walked past the drain where Mr.McFly was run over by the drunken bus driver, past the old willow tree where the Irish Wolfhound was taking his midnight piss, past the two bums having sex, and even past Mr and Mrs.Belk who were eating popcorn and watching the whole thing unfold.
