Half-Life 2

Just happened to play and finish this last week. I'd give it around a 9/10 to a 10/10 rating.

I got some screenies too (some maybe be spoilers, and they're in no particular order):

Overall, it's an awesome game. The physics, graphics, everything, are a thumbs up. Gravity gun is wicked, especially when it's charged with dark energy.

I also played Portal too. Another great game, although weird in a sense. I'd give that a 7/10.

I'm not gonna go into details what I like about both games. I think it's quite obvious lol. Play it for yourself.

CS uses the same engine as half life 2. this game confuses me, your suppost to be in the future but you still have some pass weapons and your first weapon is a crow bar? "crow bars are geeky video game characters" but i gave up on the game when i was in chapter 2 not cause it was hard, but i was wondering when is the good stuff gonna happen? when do i get that whole thing about lifting up stuff and shootin up stuff. but this game seems cool if i ever got to finished it ... but the story is kinda hard to fallow a bit

The story is easier to follow if you've played all the HL1 games.

And you can't rush the story too. The game's not just about the gravity gun - it's way more than that.

You'll obviously get more weapons as you progress through a game. The crowbar itself is a great weapon for a start. Eventually like in other video games you'll start getting more bigger and badder weapons.

The cool thing about HL2 is that you can have a POS video card and the game still looks good. I mean when I had it on my Geforce FX5600 it still looked great.

Now I can max it

Play these games in this order:

Half-Life
Half-Life: Opposing Force
Half-Life: Blue Shift
Half-Life 2
Half-Life 2: Episode One
Half-Life 2: Episode Two

Optionally if you want, Portal as well last. It's not really Half-Life, but it's in the same universe as it.

If you wanna "get" those games, lemme "know".

Yes, it will. It's also tied to EP2, a bit.
