Claymoring Ladders?

Maybe a really simple question'so if so i apologise.
But exactly do you Clay Ladders?

Must you face the ladder?
I thought Clay explosions went the way the clay faces?
So if you have to face the ladder when laying the clay'then the Clay would'nt trip and if it did the explosion would go towards the wall and not out towards whoever is climbing the ladder?

Also when i try and lay a clay on a ladder it falls through the rungs??

hmm i presume it gets clayed at the top of the ladder, so the person climbing it wouldn't see it. then when they step off at hte top it blows up in their face.

Yes exactly that is what you do you want to hide it so they want see it or able to shoot it to explode, if you but it on the laddar it will just go down to the beggining of the laddar on the ground I would put like two there and two up at the top hidden right when they get off the laddar!

yea in real life they blowup both way the balls go forward and there is that backlash that can kill to don't think it happen in the game have not tested that out same gose with the rockets to.we in the service call it back blast area it to is a kill zone. so we always look to the rear double check to see if anyone behind us

I know they are sooo much fun to but around and if you put like 40 you get tons of kills i USUALLY fill them in armories, spawns, and around corners and I get over 20 kills just by clays!

Every time i try and clay the top of a ladder the clay falls down to the bottom.

And when i try and clay a rung of a ladder the same happens.

This is what i am trying to ask.
How do i stop the falling clay scenario?

you can if you make the map that way like a mine facing up or out to the ladder lol can't wait to see a guy go up half way up boom darn claymore then he try it only he can't get it to stay on the ladder like he found it lol

too many clays ruin the game

but most important: clays REALLY ruin your kill/headshot ratio (mine is usually >70% and yes i am proud of that )
