as to the problems we had last week, please keep in mind i did not make the decision on my own as to who the SOTW winner was, i talked it over with the others, and hustler had the most votes and took top spot.

i think dye and danny, and even moreph had some incredible sigs.... and just a simple bg wins it? no offense to hustler... gj on the win... do you look at the name and if you know them they win?

i'm sorry you feel so strong about this.
it's just for fun, there are no prizes and no one's life is at risk.

Hustler has produced a good 3D render with nice colour tones.

you say it was a simple b/g and that Dye has incredible sigs - when Dye's are considerably more simple IMO.

Moreph does indeed have great sigs - he has won in the past with that first sig in his list if i remember correctly.


IMO i believe Danny's sigs are just an image not created by him with 'danny' written on them. the text on the sig is just so simple with no added effects it just doesnt look right. i checked out all of his sigs on dodstudios and most of them are like this. i would love to see .psd's to prove me wrong however!

I judge sig over at DFChicks, so I can tell ya it is never easy to find that one sig that stands out from the crowed. Over there we use a 10 point system and the sig with the highest average wins. I personally grade a sig as I would a photograph (has photography background) I look at composition, color matching, effort put into it, and put very little into if I like it or not cause we all have different tastes. And I don't have to think it looks good for it to be a well done sig. This week hustlers sig obviously stood out to the people that judge, next week someone else’s will. I have been entering sig's for a long time on different sites, and only have one win. No big deal I like making them that’s why I do not to win.
