Resolution

Is there a way to turn down the resolution? Unfortunately I've been stuck playing Delta Force 2 for the last 10 years because it seems to be the only FPS that doesn't give me motion sickness. I was hoping to turn down the resolution/quality in DF Extreme 2, and see how I faired with that but it seems to have very few settings to crank the quality down.

it maybe not you at all, novaworld servers use a anti-lag cheat tool

so if you feel your skipping back and forth its do to that the internet is lagging so they reset you back to were they known you was at before the data flow lost from your system---internet---to their servers any data lost their servers will auto-reset you and others. ADSL (DSL) is better to use or T1-connection

i use to get that with DF: xtreme, JOTR! were it all started when they release JOTR that started this.

1.) lag can be from: Video card out dated.
(video chip on MOB is never good to start with upgrade to a video card PCIe, PCI-1x, PCI....ect)
2.) monitor can be out dated as will, older stander monitors (Tube type) lags in refresh rate.
3.) internet connection modem and upload speed real slow higher speed is better.
4.) running to many programs in the back ground and download items same time as playing the game. never an good id to have a lot of items running as one play the game.
5.) join their servers using a dailup or cable that is slower then the other internet services

Open up the .cfg file for the game and there will be a resolution setting. It's a 1-? system in there being 1 the lowest resolution the game runs at.

Awesome thx for your replies I'll give it a try. I suspect it shouldn't be a lag issue since I play on a dual quad core with a 1gig vid card, and a 15mbps broadband connection.
