Hey guys The project that has been called "longhorn" for such a long time has finally gotten a official name it gonna be windows vista...(must have been a blond that came up with that lol)

Yeah but alot has happened technologicaly that probably meant it would have been redundant quicker if it came out sooner....

^^ tbh if it was out already ppl would be screaming that MS are forcung ppl to upgade etc. 2000 and XP are fine at the moment.

True, but M$ sets date for itself to release software...So they can catch more money.. If it was up to M$ i think we would have a new OS every 3 years..

I'm prettey sure it will be. If its due for next year, technology would of taken another big leap, although if that happens another small delay, but think about XP, its brought so much technology, and gaming has been so high tech, i hope its not like the change from 98 to ME, which may I say practicually nothin. lol

I like windows, some people say it's less secure than linux, not true. To the average Joe it is way less secure, but if your a computer kind of guy it can be just as secure or more. Anyways I think that vista will have little to no bugs, as of XP has little to no bugs. I personally think that MS does a good job, and if you can create a better OS or if you mock it, go build one yourself since it is so easy lol.
