looks like a good system. I heard something about some intel processors not supporting virtualization that windows 7 uses, so you might want to make sure yours does. Other than that it looks good.

man you have no idea how much i hate wifi stuff, i'm currently trialing wifi to my HTPC, i can just about stream 1080p stuff from upstairs to downstairs using a D-Link DIR-855

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...d=1452&subcat=

yeah that's 600Mbps wifi and yeah i still hate wireless. actual throughput i'm getting is about 3MB/s. so general streaming is no problem, the HD sometimes it stutters a bit, but for transferring files is crap.

fyi i find netgear, linksys and d-link stuff better than others.

if it turns out that the wireless is crap (although for downloading my laptop which is wifi gets the same speed as my wired pc...) ill run a cable down...

have decided to hold back on the ram and PSU in the mean time, 650w should be enough for the system...

im not sure if you already bought the parts but a suggestion i made to one of my friends was you can buy the step down to the E8400 and overclock it like 1.5mhz or around that i know its less than 1.7mhz and you will get the same thing for less money but compare the prices too cause that was a while ago im not sure if they difrence in price is almost none now but back then he save alot with that
