moving Gifs colour prob

Im starting to make moving images. i am using image ready with photoshop. the problem i have is that when i use gifs, when i add something to move the colour is diffrent to what i put it as originaly. this is sometimes also the case when i add extra text in a diffrent colour. can anyone help?

also, what programs do you guys use to make things move?

never had that problem...i use imagerewady

try to reinstill the software if it has a repair option to it use it.

use Add & Remove if you see a repair option popup use it can't say if there is one or not there to use. if not un-instill it totally delete the Program folder then reboot the system after your at desktop re-instill it in.

you maybe ask for a key-code for it so have it on hand.

update you montor driviers and GFX card too. if you have not done so in the pass.

some times elec may go out and system files go bad do a scandisk on Hard Drive.

Windows 2000, Xp home, Xp Pro, 2003: run/
chkdsk /F (short-scan) 10min to do
chkdsk /R (thourgh-scan) 15-30minto do

a option will come up press Y then hit enter. now reboot your system "restart" as it goes to desktop screen will go to blue it will scan now when it finish it ether go to desktop if it found error it will reboot the system for a 2x then fix error's a lot of time file system will go bad and scan disk fix them.

check your optimized settings and make sure they are set high, because if its not it will do that.........I suggest u make sure that its set to high like 256

if u make a brand new sig, save it as a gif then open it after as a gif do you have to use the same colours and not add any other? as i made a sig before using a colour already in the sig to move and it works, but this sig now is having the colour prob, just wondering if its because i added a diffrent colour.

^^ that makes no sense to me, anyone else??

It should be the color u make it in ps and imageready when its done, if its not then its in your settings........make sure you are using RGB mode or even CMYK, other then that I really dont know what prob. your having


again make sure the settings are set to the maximum
