NHQ wont leave me alone!
For some reason whenever a new post has been made, the site keeps sending me an email. What makes it annoying is that i have that option turned off. I think its stuck or something, someone help me! Its spamming out my inbox.

Ah we've all had that, go to your UCP, then your options and find

Use 'Email Notification' by default?
Using this option emails you whenever someone replies to a thread that you have participated in.

would be worth just clicking userCP to see if your subscribed to any threads or section

i'll give it a shot, im pretty sure ive already tried that. But as i said, i'll give it a go and we'll see what happens.

edit: Well its already sitting on 'no'. And it usually keeps sending me an email because of the 'last 1 2 post wins' thread. I stopped posting there ages ago because of the fact that i couldnt!

i had a look in that thread, in your first post you have email notification turned on (the series of checkboxes under the main post bit when you reply) you have turned off offering that by default but any existing ones will still do as it says...

You can edit the post to turn that off if you find the offending posts, though most should die a natural death...

Ok because im such a nice guy i edited your posts in that thread that i could find which had email notification turned on, so unless i missed one that thread wont mail you any more...

You can also go into your UserCP and unsubscribe to the treads that you are subscribed to.. there is also a link in the emails it sends out to unsubscribe. Just click the link.
