Well Redrum is quite far off the mark with power rangers. Though the transformers was close considering this series was the inspiration for that type of anime/cartoon. So that says its quite old and not a modern one.

I shouldve done the mice that were in Votron lol and you were right, it was a black one, I was thinking about the vapor trail when they fly which was white.

most of the others had the big guy a useless robot junk pill and some of them listed as a relics of old days, but some way or some how the big guy always came back into action.

this scifi cartoon serials use a war theme songs (females who would sing) as a war time to drill evil combatant into action.

1.) good guys use jet fighters that change into a fighter robot
2.) they fighting off a alien invasion force from outside their solar system.
3.) the alien force use music (female to sing a battle cry) to get their forces in heated fighting mood.
4.) air date around med 80s

The big "guy" behind the jet is what the alien invaders are after. It is one of there enemies ships that has technology that that want and crashed on earth after a battle and the poor unsuspecting humans fixed it up the best they could not knowing that it would make them a target by just having it.
