I did that workout today (the A schedule). Must say that it didn`t seem like much. I couldn`t do the Dips though. I guess I am to heavy for my puny arms.
Did the bar + 75lbs, weak sauce. I am afraid to try the military press because I don`t want to drop the weights on myself.

Strength programs are usually pretty low volume. You can replace military press with seated dumbbell press if you want to.

I prefer not to use protein supplements. I think natural is the better way. Maybe if I were more hard core. I heard from a lot of weight trainers that you don`t need protein until you have reached a plateu.

I think I will do that. I don`t think he has skull crushers in that program but I did 'em anyway today.

I took some while I was in Brazil but it had a lot less protein in it.
Good thing is the potassium.. Would be nice if it had magnesium....that is supposed to help a lot with energy levels.

You'll make your best gains within the first couple months of lifting. They're called noob gains. It honestly doesn't matter how crappy your diet is you'll still see amazing results when starting. I would personally wait.

so spazz, have you ever tried pure protein before? because it tastes like sh*t, and only 10%-60% of all protein mixes is protein and the rest is whatever they want in it, ex. chocolate, that is what i was trying to get at...

It's impossible to get 100% protein powder. All protein powders have BCAA's and EAA's in them. So you don't have a point.

i'm the size that i am from working outside all the god damn time.
it's called country strong. i actually know how to use my strength, in other ways than making the same repetitious movements over and over again with weights that are easily gripped and handled. yea some of my friends are pretty big .. they got there cute little cuts on their triceps looking good for the beach and all .. but all they do is weight lift, which i also did when i wrestled .. but they can't do **** with their strength. ask them to move a full sheet of plywood or lift some large heavy irregular shaped object and move it a few feet ... they can't do it, because all they've trained their muscles to do is make the same easily balanced movement over and over again. which goes hand and hand with what spazz said about just starting out. benching for example .. when you first start out your balance is all screwed up and you waste alot of energy just keeping the bar level. about a week later, your technique gets better and miraculously your max went up 100 pounds or more.
