Dont worry about it Blade. Net-Speak comes quickly once you get involved. The DF-HQ community is small but inoffensive. If you need info but think you may be laughed at if you do not know something then ask it here.
The moderators would delete any offensive name calling that may ensue and you would find that no-one would take the mick anyway.
We work to provide an environment that people want to return to and achieve this by fostering the community feel that is DF-HQ.

Believe me everyone of the Staff here has things they are good at and things they are utterly incompetent at.

For instance, StevieB there is an excellent map maker and can give you all the info you want on making maps, however he is an appalling DF player, and is lucky if he accidently murders his team mates in a game.

It's swings and roundabouts mate. The joke will never be on you as long as you are respectful of others, they will repsect you in here.

If you know any other sites that do the tutorials then that would be useful. as they look really cool, I am pretty new to all this but am most impressed with the site set up and eveything really..it's a whole new world........

Oh it wasn't that clear was it....as I was reading some comments on page 1, and didn't realise all the other comments on this thread....DOUH? I was referring to the sigs....although I don't think I have the hardware to do it anywa...maybe I should ask someone to make me one, probably be quicker as you guys seem like experts!!!
