worked for me. I would need to know more about it before passing judgment. they couldve been joking about how the school is vulnerable and the other student eavesdropping thought they were seriously planning something.

The plan to turn all the gas valves on in the kitchen was near funny, anyone with a gas appliance aside from a gas heater knows they never shut the gas off unless they are replacing/repairing it.

I think this is a case of overeaction as seams to be the norm these days.

Fill a lecture hall with a random sampling of kids that age and ask them if there is anyone that hasnt thought of blowing up their school, if their honest you wont get many hands up. Its perfectly normal for kids to think about how to do things like this and trust me, its not the 3 that are schemeing and plotting on facebook that you need to worry about...

I was actually encouraged to think like this, admittedly I was at an adult reentry college for what is normally final year highschool, but I remember the Poli Sci class becoming quite the machiavellian schemers when posed with questions like "How would you get rid of x" and the like...

Totally agree. Blown way out of proportion. The kids should have gotten a slap on the wrists and a suspension from school. No federal charges needed in this case imo.

here in the state its the Id of it and DA or law enforcement love to spend money like water.
spend spend spend for any good reason they can think of.

even if its low key item they will go over broad and say they need to set a sample for no other will even talk about things like this. over kill, i heard they going to charge them with some terrorist act charges in court. ether case the Lawyer will make a killing off this and da will get a chance to waste more money on a low key item! kids we talking about here. but they really can careless of the age of a child they going after
