WHAT IS A CHEAT?

G'Day all, i was reading a post at another site about what you think is a cheat. No i am not talking about trainers but about the other things like changing you CFG files and such.
So lets chat about it and your opinion of it.
PLEASE no flaming, just interesting opinions.

A cheat is when you do something you weren't originally supposed to do in the game. Like flying, you weren't originally meant to fly in the game, so if you do it you're cheating.

a cheat is when some1 changes anything in a game to better him/herself or make others easier to defeat

skins - not just player skins terrains too

doubleloads

speed

high jump

warping

wall hacks

invisible

infinite ammo

auto nades

scoped fnmag/saw

auto barret 50 cal

Cheat - anything used for ones own personal gain in any type of activity. Especially in a game to give oneself an advantage above other players unfairly.

OK ill put it another way then,
Look at the picture.

Im in the rotor wash,
You are 120m away on top of a building, crouched.(can't be seen throu rotor wash)

I shoot you 120m away throu the rotor wash with 1 or 2 shots.
This is what i am talking about, some players changing there set ups in CFG files

A cheat is some one who lacks some thing in his/her life in my opinion.

Players change there CFG files because they have the "option" to remove certain things from the game (i.e.rotowash)

Basic a cheater is one who gains advantage over others by doing something that is not normal done in the game. a real low blow to others who are trying to play it fair.
People who make a cheat tool that aloud to take advantage of the game play sorry to say in my book they are total low lifer’s who have hack the game software to aloud others to use to cheat with. Sample Infinite use of med-packs, scope 25x more powerful, walks thru-walls, and so on.

not everybody who cheats cheats just becuase they arnt a good player, some people just cheat because the want to but a cheat to me is anything changed in the game like G.I Joe said

Yeah, as I was going to say, most cheaters don't cheat because they suck, they cheat out of spite.

i think we are better then them cheaters.

[smartass]i was thinking the other day how can they do all that cheating online then it hit me if i was on my comp and i really farted super bad and light it with a lighter me and my comp be doing some funny things like jump super highup and running super fast to a water hole or bucket some place to cool my rearend down some but then again if i had my bother around he could light it again only if i had gas trouble of some type.and running thru-walls be easy with the rocket in my rearend.[/smartass]

In reply to ZZA1PQX I think as this is a democratic forum, surely all shades of opinion, provided they are not offensive to anyone, are welcome here?

We all know cheating will never stop and we all know it's probably pointless to post about it here or any where else for that matter, but we are all entitled to a point of view.

Your probably right in as much that cheats do create a great deal of debate however, that's what these forums are all about, different people with different points of view.

I don't like them at all but I do like to get even. Even make up jokes about them so I feel a lot better and others get a cheap laughs over all cheaters are really lamest of all players
They have to think the good players are cheating also so they go out to get the cheat items so their score be a lot better only thing is no one is cheating around every one at lease most are playing it fair not cheating at all only them 5yrs old kiddy’s are who cry to them safe at night then boom one day it hit them they got to be cheating to make them great scores...Yea so that’s how I think they cheat oh hell kiddy’s will always be cry babies only they are cheating them self out a good game play.

We need to call them slugs slow learners

hehe. this topic. comes up every forum ever at least once. their ghey. i say99% cheaters actually suck. but u get a couple which is hard to spot. e.g forced lag. + little things. unlimted ammo. a gunner char running as fast as a cqb. all these u dont notice easily if ya killing peeps. some good ppl use this ansd well they own.

this guy i saw was usuing a car 15. was on a usa server and i was warpin. he had a car. i reloaded 3 times and he hadnt reloaded was like. ahh must be lag. till i respawn later and he ran in spraying everyone ( i had spawn armour on ). so didnt killl me. called me a cheat cause i wouldnt die.) DYKE. i explained to every n00b in that server. then left. host werent their. only way to stop cheats is a paid online game. only way. but that aint gonna happen. just have to keep playing squads that dont cheat.

cheats do it as i said cause they suck,. and want to be good. and big. and for them ( be cool). think they should stop ppl under 16 playing this game. reckon over half the cheaters will be gone
