little problem

every time i try to host a Lan game the guest computer will join session and at the loading mission from server page it will hang and wont go any further, i happens on both computers, both are running winXP home and both have the firewalls turned off and antivirus too but still no luck, i have tried everything including turning of VON disabling tracers etc, even reinstalled but nothing.

please help.

do both have same item in the game to run the map or it could be the map is mod type and lockup the game

some people have made moded maps and not say a thing about it having extra items in it from mod they use.

have both Computer work lan with other games before?

yup, DFTFD and DFLW wont work but DF1 DFBHD and df2 will, and both games are identicle , same setup and everything.

they will work online but wont do anything on LAN.

i gotem to connect once a few munits ago but now they wont anymore.

could be something with the share file thing between the two system security thing, not firewall things think more like windows setting share option for lan.

maybe other have had the same trouble & can pin point it better.

didnt work, stranger note, it will join on some maps but not all but the ones it will join on it takes anywhere from 1 - 3 muinits, all of them are stock maps and both computer havem installed, i read up in it some and it seams to be a very common problem.
