THQ Nordic Acquired Delta Force, Comanche, Joint Operations and other Franchises

Vienna Austria, Agoura Hills CA USA, October 31, 2016: Today, THQ Nordic announced that an asset purchase agreement with NovaLogic Inc. containing all games and/or projects owned by NovaLogic Inc has been closed. In essence, that means that they’re back at it again with the acquisition of partly forgotten, but classic game IPs and this time is all about first-person military themed game franchises like groundbreaking and genre defining Delta Force, Comanche or Joint Ops.

I wonder what this means for all the old game lobbies?

This is pretty good news, but at the same time I wonder what Nordic is really after... Does this mean all the old game lobbies will cease to exist?

Even though a lot of us hated NovaLogic... They were very dedicated to hosting the lobbies, much more so than companies like EA or Ubisoft.

A proper HD remake of DF/DF2/DFLW/BHD would be really fun

IMO - In keeping with the spirit of this game and all that's been built around it, I wouldn't see any sense in disrupting such an established community.

The THQ brand was really popular. The main investor from THQ Nordic just requested access to our DF Facebook group so maybe we'll get some community involvement at some point in time...
