So if enough people are up for it, we should have a one-off competition ;P

Cool stuff. Well if Matt can create the thread, w/ the old SOTW rules, and maybe just an open sig competition for now? should draw more entries than a themed competition.

I'll create the thread when you get a few more people who are definitely going to participate and throw together some rules (because I don't think we had any set rules for the SOTW).

Ok, how about this.

Each week a SOTW submission thread will be made on Sunday. Anyone who wishes to enter must post their submissions in that thread. The last day of entry will be Thursday. You can submit up until 11:59pm - any entry submitted after 12:00am Friday morning will be disregarded. A poll will be posted in the HQHR section for voting. Winner(s) will be announce the following Sunday along with the posting of the next weeks SOTW entry thread.


RULES

1.) Current Signatures only
Signatures must be recently created. Signatures that you have shown off 3 months ago will not be accepted.

2.) 1 entry per person per week.
Self explanatory.

3.) Maximum size for a sig is 500 x 200
No image bigger than the stated dimensions above. This is even big for a signature, so don't complain about not having a big enough canvas to work with.

4.) NO RIPPING SIGS!
Ripping: Usage of another graphic artists work without prior permission. You may not alter, transform, or build upon others work. If you are found ripping, you will be banned from the SOTW.

5.) When posting an entry, please disable your current signature in that post.
How do I do this? When posting your entry, in the post editor you will see additional options. Listed under miscellaneous options is a check box to display your signature. Uncheck this box.

6.) Only submission posts will be allowed in the thread. If you want to discuss the entries, please make a thread of your own to do so.

NOTE: Winners will receive the option of displaying a graphic in their signature to announce that they have won a Sig of the Week competition here at NovaHQ.
