A fence rider is a Western term meaning someone who doesn't take sides. One minute they'll be singing praises or agreeing with one side, the next they'll be slandering the same side they were just praising.
Case in point, not too long ago (at a different place), Fearless was sucking up to us and trying to get on the squad, then saying Joe was acting like an idiot, blah blah, now this.
