well i am mainly a target shooter tho i do hunt, and there is no point in using anything bigger than .22 LR for target practice so i was thinking this one... http://www.ruger-firearms.com/Firear...10101&return=Y

i got a ruger .22 long rifle and magnum single action revolver .. very nice gun .. it also has adjustable sights, which the don't make anymore on it

i also got a Walther .22 Olympia ..that gun is insanse .. and i really shouldn't be shooting it .. lol it's worth like $1000, but hell .. i cannot miss .. and i was shooting it on the 50 foot range, awsome gun. it looks like the one you posted, if you want a nice target pistole, .22, something like that is the way to go

and if your going just for target don't get any guns like berrets or glocks .. not half as accurate as a target shooter like that

if you ever want to get into rifles, i got this one for christmas, http://www.remington.com/products/fi...el_700_BDL.asp
very awsome gun, hitting bullseye everytime at 100 yards with just iron sihghts, and i also got it in left handed

yea glocks are reliable guns but not accurate, and only work good on big loads, i used light loads in a range and it jammed up every five seconds

h&k,Glock,Berreta, and a few others are to expencive and overly complicated fer me, thats why i like mausers, they are tough, work great and dont have a hundred billion little parts to wear out or stop working.
and if ya cant get parts fer a mauser ya can sometimes make the parts for they are super simple.
and in a worse case senario you can resort to blackpowder in a mauser, but ya try that with a high tolerence multi moving part gun it will usually jam up, or just wont function
.
with glock, h&k and few others, ya will usually have to go to tthe factory to get replacement parts, and in a post war, post disaster situation ya will be screwed if ya cant get parts.

simple is usually always better, like a SKS will usually perform just as good on the battle field as at 157$US as a 1000$US M16 and will prove more deadly at its 7.62x39mm compaired to the M16 5.56mm or .223, and it will out perform most of the multi thousand dollar rifles that are out there and will, fer that is mostly what the VC in nam had and tey inflicted many casulties with them and the AK47, the AK and the SKS is simple, isnt very expencive and works.
they may not be the prettiest or the shinnyist but they will get the job done at 157$ and very few moving parts.

id recommend this one http://www.glock.com/te_g19.htm i used it once on a course, its bloody accurate although i only fired 5 rounds so dont know from long term experience

Mauser is right about the "expensive" factor, a M16 which costs $1000 will crack a breeze block, an AK47 cheap ass mofo weapon which is in almost every 3rd world conflicts, wars and even here in N.I its the main rifle of all the groups here, will break the block (saw on a Documentary about the m16 vs ak47, the results where scary

over here, i cant buy a gun legally, and i will probably never buy one (unless its legalised, and the troubles start up again, self-defence only)

you can get arrested over here for having a BB gun nevermind a proper firearm, lol.. might explain how low our gun deaths are now, although 10+ years ago there was hundreds of civs, british soldiers, and terrorists shot and killed daily (although im not bothered about the terrorists been killed..)

count yourself luck you guys can actually own one legally lol
