i think what they did is amazing without the use of tools.
if u see what comes at hand only makin map with prefab objects imagine what its like makin the object urself 2.bet alot of peeps cant even achieve this WITH the new tools and WITH the manual.and they showed nova that their customers aint as stupid whining bunch as some of em think.

i use 3ds max 4

to reder 3d objects and it takes a lot of time to make a prefab then u have to skin that image.

i know how hard it is to make 3d objects cause i do it myself

i make 3d backgrounds for wallpapers over at themexp

to show my good faith with the boys at exp and u guys here at dfhq.

i made a weapons pack for babstats and added the php code in a zip file for ya

1 question would anybody know if u can get the lag in the snow maps away by usin a faster server pc or is this sumtin we have to live with.is this caused by lack of cpu or bandwith of the server (as im host for isk server,) or is this the same situation as the smoke nades? on the snowy island map my cpu usage jumps between 10 and 50 % where it normally stays at 0.

i have a serve only 900mhz server pc with 1 gig of ram and a 8192/1024 dsl. iw ould like too know cuz the snow looks wicked.feel like puttin on my coat when i play in the snow maps:P

sounds like your video card is either maxed out or your setting are too high i have a amd xp 2400+ 2ghz 512mb ram a geforce fx 5200 ultra and a 2mbps cable with a upload of 128k so my server can only host 9 ppl max but i have no lag in snow thats why i believe its your video card.

hhmmm i wonder i have an asus v9650 fx5600 256 mb.

the pc i game with (i have 3) is also an xp 2400 with 512 ram.


i think the graphics settings are irrelevant on a server pc isnt it? just for showing black screen lol. evrybody lagged big time during the snowy island map.

even a m8 of mine who has a gainward coolfx fx5900 ultra(yeeeehaw) and a 3.0 giga pentium had screenlag.

all i can think of is that all the other players' comps were freakin out causin a domino effect for all the players on my server. guess time will tell.love that map though

how i see the "good" Mod- times after BHD
usually because of experience of 5 years 3D Infantry Shooter playing and hosting
we must have an interest that a very "common sense" strong game is coming out....
BHD was incomplete to archieve that goal...

if Joint Operations is reaching that level [DF feeling + BF1942 feeling +
server configuration possibilities for making it more realsim like GR + AA]
then i would be very satisfied....but me doubt that Novalogic will do that...

the only chance that i see is a very good mod including that all...
i would really give some time for that one!

on some BHD maps we`ve tried out to find a mixture for 2 different player-types

a) the Quaker
b) the Survivor

BHD got a big problem....too less REAL cover...if the real cover is
working...then we are able to find out attracting both client-parties...

but for that we need the campaign manager for JO from Conda

the campaign manager and the STATS will make it very attractive because i am quite sure that a sophisticated campaign on a good made virtual battlefield is what people are waiting for....

Major Headacke is working on it right now guy, be ready for a new update from TerraNova.

with all NL update, others will have to do patchs/fix to their programs this is normal give it time in 3-5days it be fix up good.

is anyone having problems with massive sys dumps since d/l the Terra mod myself and several of my team mates have several each night including our server the MOD rocks I like the additional weapons great job its just that the constant sys dumps get very annoying any ideas?

Hey I cant get anymore missions after I pass the first mission.
Does the TerraNova Mod only have 1 mission?

this is old think you have to get a update there a 2nd file to download for it. they did a update for it.

Im still getting only 1 mission to do, "Operation Orca". Does the exp only come with 1 mission to do or is there something wrong.
