BHD Problem

Ok I'm sure this has all ready been brought up before but I don't feel like searching for it I bring up my BHD game and click on multiplayer then join or whatever and it brings up the regular nova sign in name and password screen. Then I sign in or click on bypass and get to the screen where it shows ping times are being calculated. If I click cancel the whole game either shuts down and goes back to windows or it goes straight to the game servers with no ping times. If I let it go ahead and let it calculate the ping times it usually shuts down and goes to windows. Sometimes I get lucky and am actually able to get to the game servers. Is there a way to fix this? I asked a friend and he said he thinks it is a RAM problem. Please help.

well, i haven't heard about something like that yet
i don't think it's a ram problem, if it was you'd have a lot of other trouble (have you?)

you might try a joiner tool. no solution, but a workaround ;-)

I've had about the same problem you have now. My problem was solved when I switched to an other resolution in BHD. I think it has something to do with the videocard and drivers.

By the way, what videocard do you have?

have`nt come across this myself but if it is a video card prob try it with all settings to minimum and resolution to 640 / 480.
maybe this will help you narrow down the problem

i don't get it why this happens when the game list should come up

as far as i can see that, it's displayed exactly like everything else in that "integrated browser"

I believe I have GeForce 2 MX/MX 400. Like I said before I don't know nothing about computers. I'll try doing the resolution thing.

I don't think its a video card problem though. I can play singleplayer with everything on high and it runs fine. I noticed it did this alot in the demo to but not nearly as bad as this.

I don't think it has something to do with the performance of your videocard, but I've had the same problem as you have and when Ii switched resolution(switched to a higher one) the problem was solved, but the novaworldmenu looked very big although the resolution was higher then 1024*768. With this big-looking novaworldbrowser I no more had any prob's with browsing the games.

A good solution for you might be using the utility BHD Join. In that way you don't have to use the slow and bugging novaworldbrowser in BHD.

I tried changing the resolution when this first happened and it didn't work. But I reinstalled the game and tried it again and I haven't had that problem since. Thank you all for your help.
