Sound Lag

Hi

Been playing BHD for a while with no Problems.
However last night i had Sound Lag.
If i Fired my Weapon i would hear the Sound 5 seconds later.
Even rebooting the PC and Modem made no difference.

Any idea what would cause this all of a sudden?

I have a
cable Modem
Soundblaster Live
Win Xp
DX9B.
