Yeah they charge you for support if you want to talk to a technician from India who you can barely understand. You should see how much their onsite technicians cost, we were going to have to have one come out and look at an issue on our server.
Google and the MS knowledge base are your friend. I think with Windows XP you got 1 free call to tech support or something like that.

Like Mstenger404 said, Google searches has always answered any questions I ever had about VISTA. Jmo, but VISTA was Microsofts' over-reaction to a much un-needed security responce for computer software that was ever written.
