COOP Maps-Start Player or Start Blue Team?

Hi everyone, Happy Nearly New Year!

I am still on a learning curve and in the process of making my first COOP map.
In a belated fashion I have come across a bit of a question I do not personally know the answer to.

In a COOP Map do I use Start Player or Start Blue Team markers?

No rush for this one, I am still building the map and the servers are down anyway.

For COOP games, Start Player.
Start Blue/Red Team markers are used only in Team Matches..

Looks like you only need one Player Start marker in it (COOP) and everyone spawns from that, so next question would be:
What controls or determines the number of markers required for each game type?

Been testing one on the servers for Black Hawk Down recently and it takes nearly 2 hours to complete with only 2 players in it. Works well.
Got a couple part done for DFX2
Also got a Single Player for DFX2 that has a bug and I have been working on it about 9mths
Just so hard to get the bug out, (Greybird Extreme, don't download it), it doesn't complete I'm still trying to fix it but it is very complex and I have other maps on the board...so

Hey Stompmen, I created a coop map from Shadow Raider I will send it to you also feel free to use warrior world map I created as a guide, waypoints and objectives, if ther are more than 254 players including bad guys the server will crash, try to keep BG under 238 for a 16 slot server. Let me know if I can help.

Good work young man, that's a big plus for you and will be fun for all I'm sure.

I am really getting into Co-Op maps now. I think it's the way to go play on-line, TDM is very good too.

Thanks for the tip on AI numbers, I am sure there is lot's more to learn.

Regarding the DFV.cfg file in BHD:

Maxping;
Can I set it from 1500 to 3000 (Is this a Baud rate? Does 1 unit translate to 1/10 milliseconds?) will this increase the max allowable ping from 150 to 300 milliseconds or more?

Some players have been getting punted on my BHD map tests.

Sure are a few confusing host settings there.

Regards stomp.

I do have land warrior but the editor is very lacking in scope. Tried the C4 MEd for DFLW and it has not done well so far.
But that is only for 3D wire-frame view, I can still do the maps as the scripting is the same but consumes heaps of time checking Buildings and trees etc. for correct placement. If you have a particular scenario I will do it for you. Coming up with the intial premise is the hardest bit creatively.
