getting booted

everytime i load into a server i get booted within a matter of a second??? any ideas? its driving me nuts, i have all the updates its not my ping cause i can play on my brothers computer fine, so anyone have any bright ideas, anything that u think could help would be great, ill try anything

i had that rpob with BHD, try clearing ur cache if that doesnt work uninstall and reinstall.

Yea.. if u using pinger then dont.. cos it hasnt been updated yet and.. Thats y people gettin Booted as they JOIN!

have to ask did you add anything to it, reason skins and some times other things will do it to they will boot you out really fast out of the server.

list what you have for the game: DF: BHD you are using other then the game it self. any 3rd party items other then Novalogic.inc that is in it.

nope just bhd. and then i added TS but its all nova i didnt add anything and i cleared my cache a couple days ago.... well i had some custom maps but i deleted them too. ill try to reinstall.

1.) you did update DFBHD first right? before instilling in TS?
2.) after you instill TS in then updated it right?

you have to update it in this order other wise you get error. its working for me fine. i did get one system dump after that been fine. novalogic is working on it trying to fix it up.

ok tell us what you have for your system? to connect to the internet? there something there you left out i feel that is blocking you from connecting to Novaowld servers.
1.) software like in: firewall type and the maker of it.

if do you have Xp it has a firewall in it will block you going to Nova-server look in your connection disable it, but beforeyou do that, get a new firewall replace it with.

going to DFLW & TFD been slacking on my stats there, have not play them in some time.

well i have windows 2000 have no firewall that i know of but i have a etherfast router sharing my connection with my brother but i can play fine on his computer but cant get mine to work... as far as hardware not sure my old room mate put the computer together for me

If you have norton antivirus installed, disable it.

Sounds like ur using more than 1 compter on the same connection. If this is the case, which I'm sure it is, u might want to try going into ur router settings, DMZ Host and put u or ur brother's computer (IP Address) outside the router. If ur not sure how to do this ur router tech support will b able to help u. If u haven't already done so u'll have to also set port forwarding. The Ext. Port for DFBHD is 17479.
