For all those who live on the East Coast of the US who was in Isabel or near Isabel...these pictures may interest you!

These were taken by my friends, friend who is in the Navy so they are totally REAL!

Hm. http://www.snopes.com/message/ultima...;f=60;t=000449

I don't know but it looks to me like the first ship in the first pic is some sort of a cargo ship or oil tanker (I don't know I don't look at very many) and not a navy ship. Also, in the thread I just posted, one of the people said that the ship looks like it belonged in the great lakes area, I don't think they'd have navy ships ( this also shows how the pic may very well be fake ).

-my two cents-

edit: also, where the clouds meet the skay it looks like a bad photoshop blur effect. Also, wouldn't there be A LOT more choppiness in the water especailly for the sea

here's the exact post I saw:

"That photo almost doesn't look like an ocean-going vessel to me - it looks more like what I'd expect to see on the Great Lakes. Having been born in Duluth (duh-LUTE, for you 'Fargo' fans) - and having followed Great Lakes shipping history for a while, they can get some really nasty storms on the lakes that can do hurricane-like damage.

~Psihala"

your friend must not have given you the pic very soon alo because it's all over the internet and has been for thepast couple days.

No# 1 great shots did he take them from a helocopter it looks a bet off set from the ship.

No#2 look like he in port at this time at a shipping port great shots still good.

For them who may not know this: the Navy dose have cargo ships that meet up with other ships out at sea, and all type of ship's "supply ship's". my bother was in the navy most of the time, they out at sea. they don't resupply in port all the time some time's out to sea they get their supply's.

look super good, i set it as my desktop wallpaper. 1024 love how them clouds look hanging there in No#1 photoshot
