Need help with df1med2

Howdy!
I want to start learn How to make maps for Delta Force 1.
I unziped it to my Df Folder.
I started up Df1med and pressed open to open any file called Mission file (Mis)
Now, here's the problem, I can't find any MIS files...
I had another Program, DFME, but i was told to change.
But the files were called BMS.
What am i suppose to do to open a terain (map) when i can't find any MIS files?

ive never seen it but if its the MED thats based on the df2 MED then try

edit > general information > pick out a terrain.

then FIle > Save > whatever.mis
then File > Export > whatever.bms
