Looking for a 3DI converter

Im looking for a converter to take 3DI images out of JO/JOE(used the PFF-Extractor ,already have image out just need to find something to convert it with) and convert them to another type image so i can make a cursor (mouse pointer) ,i tried FWO site ,but all he has is a 3DI-viewer for DFLW ,but nothing to convert the 3DI file to another format ,like BMP or JPG etc

3di are the models, u cannot convert 3di to an image format

Thats right. You would need something that can view the 3D models and then take screenshots of that.
Anyone know of one that doesn't cost thousands?

well thanks for the info, but i thought there was some kind of converter to view the 3DI image , and be able to change that image to another image type, that someone had made for the DF games ,or will the FWO 3DI viewer for DFLW work on JO ?? or will it only access the images that are in the viewer not in the game files ??

it views the 3di files, not pre taken pics.
it should work for jo, they are still essentially the same 3di files, but it doesnt do a good job all the time, only some objects work

I tried it , and it opened up the 3DI files in JO , but every one i click on says *Invalid 3DI file* so im stumped

i tried the demo and it didnt show the 3DI unless i selected show ALL files, then it gave me a error saying*there was a error opening up file ,import plugin not found , or the file type not supported:3DI*

I installed the 3DI dll add on that says for DF1-5 3DI and it still gave me a error saying file not supported! it showed the file in the box but when i tried to open it , it gave me the error !,, that makes no sense! if it shows the file it should let u view it
