Real early this morning I finally finished downloading the BF1942 SP demo. Then I decided to go to sleep for a while and install when I wake up.

So I did install, and I did play. But the damn game kept on crashing! At first, when I selected a spawn point, and then, whenever a gunshot was fired!

This really sucks. I was hoping to have some bl**dy fun.

Well, at least I actually downloaded it - and now I know what happens. I guess it's good to know the truth lol.

I was really admiring the landscape of Tobruk till it crashed for the last time, and then I uninstalled.

I tried stuff like lowering the resolution down and lowering the graphic detail down.

I should've disabled the sound to see if it would still crash (seeing it crashed whenever a gunshot was fired I think or a battle commenced) - but I want to play with SOUND!!!

the game should be really really cheap to buy now days
there are like over 800 mod's made for that game even a starwars mod as will going to other planets toboot

think fileplanet.com has them up for download and seen some at cnet.com too

Yeah, I definitely wanna get it.

From what I found out here on the net, others too have experienced the same problems as well (the demo always crashing, etc.).

Believe it or not I bought BF1942 4-6 years ago somewhere and I never have played it lmao.Its all scratched up but I never took time to play it because it didnt look so good after I saw my friend playing it.I will give you a heads up now, never buy BF:Vietnam.I thought that game was going to be a cool game like Joint Ops was, but once I got into a game, I was like WOAH, this really sucks.The screenshots and the box makes you think the games going to be great but its really now.BF2142 is probably your best bet of getting a good BF Game Chris.

Yea, Chiefs right on that, you can get it for about $10-12 dollars, probably even BF:Vietnam as well now.

i was thinking Chris check for newer drivers for your mob sound chip.

the maker of the MOB would have it or the MFG like dell, gateway...ect

with the MFG site you tell it all the details on your system like S/N and model No# soo on.

i use to have a gateway hate it crash like crazy, their site you have to log-in with password and read the Serial's no#.

don't know the Brand of your MOB or the maker of it.

my from Intel totally MOB get all types of updates from them
