BF1942, wierd request.. lol

ok heres my problem, i have BF1942, but a scratch stops it from install the wake island files, so while it was freezing up i copied the folders and files it just installed to the PC, and moved it to E drive, the game works fine apart from the fact wake island doesnt appear, can anyone who has this game copy the wake island files (around 13mb) and upload them somewhere for me, as i really dont want to have to go re-buy the game for 1 map

BF1942 came with wake island installed, ur thinking of BF2, i thought the same, the map that was added into BF1942 after an update was coral sea

thanks m8, got the map now, but it appears i got some missing texture, loads it up but its missing the US flags/weapon images and then crashes

how bigs ur game.rfa file? its located righout side the directory with the maps? that contains some info itself.

go to a computer center buy a "CD/DVD repair kit" it will redo the surface of the CD/DVD and make it like new again.

basic it will take a small amount of layer off the surface of the CD/DVD (to make it clear again) and it be like new again, can't do this to many times only like 2-3x it be good, 4-6 risky-it may crack and break when in the Cd-tray drive bay.

Price may very it be around USD-15.00 to USD-25.00.

i know wal-mart has them for sale in thier stores.

some are hand united to use and some you plug into the wall to work with.

did ya know ya can use the turtlewax pollishing compound and rubbing alcohol to remove scratches, i found that out by accident, i tried some on a crap cd and after washing it off the scratches were gone, just use a cottonball to rub with and do in circular motion with a little pressure.
i figured that if it would polish chrome to a mirror finish it should work on a cd, and i was rite.
does a lot more cds than the scratch remover and doesnt cost 30$.
