HELP ME PLZ

I have a problem while I am playing, seems that I have a split second pause while in the game, no one else says they have any problems, only me, everything else seems fine, but this is almost like frame lag and I can't figure it out. plz help
this is constant not just for a minute... i start out fine then it starts acting up, like a stop and go situation but constantly though the whole game.........................HELP ME

what setting is ur game on?

does it happen in any other game?

thx, i got 192 meg ram
with voodoo5500 card
settings are 800-600and 1024-768 which i run
terrain is high
object detial is med
color depth is 32
terrain geomety is high
dflw and df2 does the same on both

Try playing with Optirun (flagball.com)

Chk ur purers resourses free, make sure its not low

if it doesnt work try reinstaling thegame (WARNING: B4 u uninstall make sureu have the CD key in the jewel case, or use buying another game)


If all else fails, back up, back up, and back up some more (especially the porn) and reformat ur drive ( make sure u backup lol)

tRY GETTING RID OF THAT VODOO 5500. yOU STARTING HAVING THE PROBLEM AFTER YOU INSATLLED THAT CARD. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE RIGHT AND UPDATED DRIVER FOR YOUR CARD. I HAD THE PROBLEM WITH THAT GEFORCE 4. SO I WENT BACK TO VODOO 3

I often get pauses when something happens with my PC.
Usually if I have MSN running and someone comes online.
It lasts a second and part of the screen goes black.

It may well happen with other progs too.
I have two firewalls. A hardcore one and a lightweight one. When I am playing I use the lightweight one because I found the heavy duty monster used to intefere with my game by offering explanations to every silly event that happened anywhere on the internet.

Try running a bare bones boot up and playing then.
I supsect intermittant pauses are not simply a case of hardware conflict (I would expect more dramatic problems)
