depends on what you want.. sli or crossfire? the x2 4800+ makes it kinda hard since it's spendy. a x2 4400+ is a better deal and very easy to overclock. I have mine clocked at 2.4GHz (4800+) and I didn't really do anything but change 1 bios setting, and I saved $250 at the time...
$1,654.96 http://secure.newegg.com/NewVersion/...Number=3416603 That's a pretty nice system.. but like I said I should go for the 4400+ and just OC it to 4800+ (Very EASY), save $200 and get a crossfire board (Abit AT8-32X, +$100 ) so you can get another graphics cards later on if you want, IMHO. Then your total would be around $1,500

4400+ can be over clocked to around 2.8 and are still stabal (with aftermarket cooling)
4400+ is the way to go Nice set up Scott |

I got mine upto 2.53 with the stock fan at 36C idle and 44C full load. After that it started to crash the computer (but i really dont know what I am doing.) I just leave it at 2.4ghz cause all I really wanted was a 4800+, just couldn't afford it..

Scott I am planning on getting water cooling, and if I was to get the 4400 would you be welling to tell me how to overclock it, and also would I run into any cooling problems?

Water cooling you woudl still need a system fan on your case becasue your notth adn south bridges might overheat becasue with water you go no air circulating around the board
It aint hard you go into bios (If unlocked) and go to advanced summin and then it shows FSB and you up teh fsb by 3-5 Mhz each time say 200mhz first time would be 205 then check then 209 then check then 214 then check then 218 then ..... |

With abit you get uGuru, which is very nice for overclocking.
All you do is go into uGuru in the bios and set you external clock to 220Mhz to get 2.420Ghz. After that requires you to know a little about overclocking, which I don't know.. You might want to run the cpu for a few days at the stock setting first though to break it in. Mine was very picky about overclocking the first day, after a few days though 2.4Ghz was as easy as changing the external clock from 200 to 220Mhz .
