Cry [MED] [SO MOD] Increasing object altitude

I would like to know how to increase the altitude of an waypoint because my helicopters fly the hell very close to the water .

Check for an incoming map, where you have to kill patrol boats from helicopters from your base before they send a barrage of Ka-25 helicopters to destroy the US-Russian alliance by shooting down a Russian Soyuz that will launch in 12 hours. (Mission will have a CoD:MW2-feeling, you will fail the mission (Soyuz destroyed) and the next map is you being tranfered back to the US mainland to fight Russians.)

Also you will need to protect the soldiers in Zodiac boats and friendly patrol boats ( Do not kill or mission's over) who will hijack the enemy patrol boats.

So if you want that please tell me how to increase waypoint altitude.

If you put them in as default (no attributes set) they snap to terrain. Older DF games you needed waypoint Z follow AI text file but AFAIK not in DFX.

Open item attributes for the waypoint. Select absolute (tick) to stay at strict height or leave blank (no tick) to follow terrain at the set height.

Z 230 in this example is (230 meters) I think 60-80 M is generally enough and 260m is max.

The DFX MEd works for AW2 maps

I use DFX MEd 2.60 for all my maps except for BHD maps

A MEd Editor is included with the AW2 mod as far as I know but if you don't have it just copy the DFX MEd into the AW2 Directory and away you go.

it will load all AW2 assets with no problem at all.

Again - you can get other MEd Editors and Handy Tools from here - http://www.novahq.net/?show=utilitie...ew_files&id=26
