the first trailer out for it in which i have been waiting for now forever. Looks cool but then again trailers are suppose to sell themselves. I just hope that they do not add vehicles in it.

I dont know whats worse. The fact that its another Call of Duty game, or the fact that it isnt another WWII shoot em all to hell game. This COD4 actually just looks like a BF2 or revamped Delta Force. Fighting terrorists who want to wipe out the world with chemical weapons? Been there done that...several times.

i wish they wud hav continued with WWII since they were the only company to make a decent attempt at it and succeed, trailer looks good but its just going down the path of battlefield and delta force like already said.

wots this game coming out on? PC? Xbox360? Ps3?

heard rumors it was going to be a PC exclusive :S

i'm looking forward to this to be honest.

the only reason i didnt like COD was becasue it was WWII era, becasue i'm a fan of modern combat.

so this could be right up my street.

i dont think it's anything like DF games, which are now certainly out of date. hope fulyl the multiplayer is good aswell, unlike BF series

Isn't that what COD is all about. Doing something that has been done millions of time before. Then releasing sequels that do it all again with slightly improved graphics? lol

I didnt mind COD to be honest, played multiplayer for a bit, but I hated the fact it was world war two, how many games is there on that, so over it.

Games on forgotten wars like Korea would be good.

As long as they stick to there style of games, i think it will be fine. cod3 was just awful imo, compared to cod2. They added classes and vehicles which just ruined the game. New content is good but stay on the same track in which you came from :P.

What I have interpreted from the trailer is a possible chance of vehicles(the tank scene, car scene, and showing him in either a place or helecopter looking down to bomb someone) and probably will have night vision. Not a bad idea imo but the mp map that is dark will probably not be played lol. I would just suggest them to try and stick to the mp roots of cod2. A lot of people play it and there are increasing numbers of lan tournaments popping up. Plus cal, twl, cevo, and a couple other UK tourney websites support this game.

CoD4 this November: Well if you go to the official Call of Duty 4 website, CharlieOscarDelta.com, you will notice in the banner there are lots of little words repeating over and over again... Well on the very top line, you see one of the words is "November."

Is this a subliminal hint-hint from Infinity Ward? It makes sense; the previous CoD titles have always been fall / November releases. More to come...

awesome, been waiting for #4 for a long time, trailer looked better than I thought, I never bought cod3, as I thought it was just all too similar.
this should be on all major platforms, CoD3 was only console because it was by Treyarch, the next is by Infinity Ward again, so, I dont know what platforms will get it first, or exclusively, but CoD2 came out for all.

Well without making an "I told you so" speech, I will state it once more, on-the-record, that Call of Duty 4 WILL be available on the PC. In Interview with the man himself, Grant Collier, I learned almost a full year ago that CoD4 was being developed for PC fans.

Furthermore, I would wager my personal gaming PC (a new XPS 710 fully-loaded w/ dual 512 MB GeForce 8800's) that CoD4 is being DESIGNED for Vista. Whether or not it will have DX10 support is another story, but Infinity Ward is well aware of the new technologies, and will make sure it runs perfectly on Vista.

So please, don't feel obligated to e-mail me with this question anymore. I am answering it here; Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare will be available for PC. It is likely going to be made for PC and Consoles (Xbox 360, PS3), and probably not for the Wii - but that is just speculation. All I can confirm is that it WILL be made for PC's.

It might be on PC, according to Wikipedia. I'm not sure about the consoles though...

i have to agreed the WWII theme is getting old.
this id be more like a WWIII theme
all type of terrain and not limited to full city's as will.
maybe a nuclear aftermath as will.

story like be like meters falling down most lands are no longer any good and the aftermath of the meters fallout, left most of the world waste lands and country are trying to take over other country's for food as will supply's wood,metal,weapons, technology resource, oil, food resources, medic resource's...ect

naw, 360, the computer market is moving too fast for me, thank god you can't get hardware updates for the 360, all I'm using the PC for now is browsing the web and play older games with my friends.
